Default Is there anyway to filter the new map to just show 'named' mobs like the old map?

I'm sure I am missing something but is there anyway to simply show the named mobs on the map like there was with the old map system, I cant seem to work it out.

Thanks.

Far as I know, there are no filtering options as of yet for the new map system.
I know this is a big request though.
I believe the hold up is the wait on the map system to have some better solutions for filtering.

There currently is no way to filter the POIs like there was in the old system. It's a known issue both by the EQ2MAP team and SOE, and believe us we want it back as much as you do =)

Well there is a way, it's just not a good one. SOE is working on it to add it to the default UI also.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Yeah... but it's not exactly a very good way indeed. Certainly nothing like the old style.

No, I meant there is a way that we could implement the old style filtering, but the code required to do that would be bloated, so we prefer waiting for SOE's solution.

Right. I know we can filter like we used to be able to... but the code for it is just plain kludgy. We're saying the same thing, hehe.
