How about a nice little mod that when you get mail you hear the AOL dude come on and say "You've Got Mail!"..

It may sound like a joke - but how about a notice that you have mail without having to run to a kiosk just to find out you got nothing. I would still run to a mail kiosk to recieve it IF I knew I had some. Is there a command or some sort of notice that would give an alert similar to "You've Got Mail!"

It shows an icon on your status effects window.

The game shoudl already tell you. You are supposed to get an icon that shows up in your EFFECTS window.

i believe i have heard a sound when i logged on for the mail, Imagine if you looked around you could find the sound file and replace it with any one you want. Dont know for sure , just check it out

Dont know the file but it does make the lil noise anytime you get a mail and not just when you log in.
