DDS image not cooperating with me

Ok I trying to just recolor some of the original window elements and this is what happens...

Before .......... After
Left is what it looks like (in preview also) before saving and after saving. But if I close the image and open it again, many blue areas have bled into the grey (image on right). Dunno why it would do this to me lol.. bleeding is not acceptable
