Default location of player on map wrong

i have noticed in a player housing map, that the icon for the player (the > icon) actually moves off the map entirely?

is this a bug in EQ or something in EQ2MAP?

Something in EQ2MAP.

We need to know which zone this occured in to do anything about it. Freeport 1-room apartment version 1? Qeynos 4-room house version 23923984?

its in "qey_ph_1r01" the zonerect is off a bit...

wondering how to find zonerect information from scratch, the tool i have gets the zonerect that is already there. i have done some tweeking to get it right (zonerect="-9, -10, 9, 10"), i know with small zones its hard to get perfect, but its better than it was.

curious on how to get zonerect info because i would like to start making some maps as well, and there is a lot of stuff to learn

Here's the initial post from Bobble on how to calculate zonerect:

Because the zone is so small, you might get a more accurate rectangle calculating it by hand than using the zonerect calculator from the site.

However, I don't know if the game takes decimals in the coordinates, so what's there might actually be the best we can do, unless the map were scaled down to 1/4 or so of the size it is now so that there's a bigger space to extrapolate the rectangle to.
