Default Map updater to Profit updater issue

I have not played on this laptop in a long time and when I went to update it I had to dnld the latest versions of this EQ2maps updater and ProfitUI updater. They each work fine on their own BUT I cant get the map updater to launch the Profit updater like before.

I followed the directions and when it trys to open the Profit updater it just opens a java window showing all the options on how to run java.

I updated the instructions to make them clearer:

How to have EQ2MAP updater launch the ProfitUI updater
To start the ProfitUI updater from the EQ2MAP updater please follow these steps:
  1. Open EQ2MAP updater, go to "Options" and then click "Browse" on the "Autolaunch EQ2" option.

  2. Type *.lnk in the file name box and then click "Open".

  3. On an English Windows installation you can then copy & paste the following in the file name box and then press open:
    %USERPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\ProfitUI Reborn Downloader\ProfitUI Reborn Updater.lnk

On systems with a different language the paths will be in your language, therefore you need to browse to the link to the ProfitUI Updater yourself. You can paste and open %USERPROFILE% to jump to your user profile folder, from there go to your start menu -> programs -> ProfitUI Reborn Downloader and click on the link.

  4. Make sure to check the box "Autolaunch EQ2". That's all.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Or set ProfitUI Updater to launch EQ2Map Updater. Might be the easier way :P

Haha, told you you wouldn't be able to stay away from the Internet.

And yeah I know, but for some reason I had the FAQ entry already, so some people must prefer this order, for whatever reason.

thank you...the additional command was what was missing. I checked out my wkstn at home and it has a similar command line and was able to work. It just points to a file to launch the updater that the newer versions dont have.

Thank you for taking the time to create a great interface!!

And yes I prefer this start up path...I think it is because in old versions it would not work the other way around.
