How to install 2 Interface Pieces

I just have a little question as I downloaded Insom's 3/4 HS bar and something else, I forget what it was lol. Since both of them come with a file labelled as eq2ui_skininfo, obvisously you cant just put them in the same folder without one cope over writing the other.

How might you install both of these pieces? Could it be as simple as editing the eq2.ini to list:

cl_ui_skinname <piece 1>
cl_ui_skinname <piece 2>
cl_ui_subdir UI/

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

unzip them into the same folder. If you open those info files there exactly the same.

Could you elaborate further? I just want to install pieces of an interface that are available here on this website not the whole packages available.

You dont have to install whole packages.

Just the xml files in the same folder.

If you like the double XP bar, give the xp bar xml into the directory.
If you like the button toolbars, give the xml into the same directory.

Thats all. Because the /loadui does not work, the info xmls are not relevant. You will never see the info of the author, except you open it with an editor.

The info of the author is only relevant, if you want to load whole skin package, because at the same time only one skin is usable. If there is nothing else in it, just the xp bar, the whole UI disappears except the XP bar...

thanks thats cleated that up, I thought skin info's were individual and some kind of pointer to the xml and were needed, wohoo UI mix n match time , once I sort my LP_REGION_EN_US folder isssue
