Default windows location

I suppose the windows location is stored in eq2_uisettings.ini. But as opposed to EQ1, it is now a binary file and we cannot read from it. Is this correct?

Correct. Be sure to submit /feedback in game. The more of us that requuest it be put back in human readable form the better.

You can sort of set window locations in the UI. Things like where your 1st bag opens, is possible.

Really? Could you kindly tell me how? I mean not in the game but by editting the ini file

Its not the INI, it's in the XML for that window.
location=x,y
