Not sure how it will look when finished but there is probably not enough detail on that map to merit such a high resolution. Since we now support any possible format maybe you could find a middleground?

Up to you though. I'd just like to avoid every map going to max size now because that could really start bogging people's computers down since EQ2 keeps all images in memory once you load them.

To be sure: now any format is supported? Not only 436*504 and 1600*1200? That's wonderful.

Any format that works for the DDS should be supported now. I believe that basically means the width/height have to be divisible by 4, but other than that you should be able to go with whatever you'd like.

Yes. Sorry, I had assumed you had seen my post regarding your Palace map. I sat down and changed all the backend code so now we can support any size you want. Your Palace map was pushed in its original 1200x960 format.

Ah, for some reason thought it had to be divisible by 4 for DDS, which I always thought strange. By 2 makes much more sense.

Heh seen you post, but read it, like, 'now we support 512x512 and 1600x1200'.

YIS will be 800x800.
