Gallenite has posted on the beta forums that there is a command to load custom ui in game.
/LoadUI is the command.
As of this post including all the default files in a custom cause crashes
All EQ2 Custom UIs
MUST contain this file:
EQ2UI_Skininfo.xml
this file is where you fill in the basic info of your UI. To show you what this info give you in game Check out this image below.
I modified the skininfo.xml file for our first mod. When I loaded it however, I crashed to desktop, so I would not start loading UIs yet.
We are still working on what files you need to included and not have it crash your entire game. But they have also said they will be releasing a tool in the near future to help with custom UIs
