While your in game, you should be able to disable the EQ2 Maps Addons. Or Hide some of the POI's.

I like the idea of having Eq2maps for instances, but while im questing in a zone, I would rather see only what quests im on, and the poi's related to my quests, not every single poi in the entire zone. Who needs to know where the Templar epic update is , when your playing a beastlord? You know what I mean.
