That error means that your system couldn't resolve the hostname "maps.eq2interface.com" through DNS. See if you can go to
http://maps.eq2interface.com/ in a browser. If you can, try re-running the updater and see if it's started working. If you can't, you'll need to troubleshoot what's wrong with DNS. One trick on Windows is to open a command prompt and do "ipconfig /flushdns" and then try the browser URL again.
