If you want inventory functionality, create a macro (O -> Macros) and enter
/togglebags as the command. Select an icon and drag the resulting macro to your hotbar. There is, unfortunately, no way to do this with bank or house vault containers (yet?)
Edit: in theory you could mod your player window to add a togglebags button in a similar manner, although it would obviously require some knowledge of modding. Again, this would only be possible for inventory, not bank or house vault.
