It's done. I had to change the name of the main file from "eq2ui_mainhud_infocenter.xml" to "eq2ui_journals_infocenter.xml" for the change to actually work, but that was a minor issue, and you're quite right about things much easier for everyone if it's called from "eq2ui_journals.xml" rather than from "eq2ui_mainhud.xml."
