im using ps7 with the nvidia plugin for dds files, and ive been having major problems with the background bleeding into areas i dont want it to

i guess im a stickler for pixel-perfect stuff, and wondering if anyone has ideas on how to effectevely stop the bleeding.

method im using now is to put a 1px padding around everything and making that pixel the same color as the one next to it. ive tried using alpha maps and transparencies (many different ways also).

the biggest problem is that i have spots that need to be transparent, but end up bleeding a little bit around the edges in-game of stuff that isnt supposed to be transparent.
