bottom bar
 

saw somebody in 60-69 asking how to display the bottom bar because theirs was not showing.

didnt think about it until they said it but i have no idea how to toggle it. is there a button combo to show/hide the bottom bar?

i would like to know so i could answer this question next time i saw it asked.

Any chance of realeasing a 1024 version of the bottom bar without the regen in it cos it's making it too busy and has hidden most of the resist stats?
Or what do i need to remove from the script (Tried removing the regen script but i have missed something and it just stops the bar loading.)??

if one stat "hides" another at 1024 that means you don't use the correct version. The 1024 bar is well aligned for that resolution and everything should show.

it was perfect till the last update :( I have done 2 clean reinstalls but the 1024 version seems to be exactly the same as the 1280 version even the script for it is very similar with the hp and power regen in it. i also did one of them with the auto updater incase the files on here weren't as upto date. same result the bottom bar extracted from the zip file was the same :(

if you use the auto-updater you must use the variants menu, there are no .zip files on the updater.

doing another complete reinstall from the auto data... fingers crossed..

nope not worked still have the same problem have checked the variants

regen bit and the atk/double attack etc are still covering over the resists :(

as a side note,

why did you add the regen stats to the bottom bar when they are already in the player window? i move the bottom bar up top in my UI and now that you added the regen stats to the bottom bar, you cant shrink its width down at all without cutting off text.

personally i liked it the other way due to the way i configure my UI, but the redundant stats really weren't needed.

not trying to nit pick, but just wanted to state my opinion. i love your UI and will always use it, but without input and opinions, you really cant tweak anything to what people like.

Hello gm9, Having the same problem with my bottombar as reported in this thread, been checking over the past couple of days to see if it's been resolved. Do you have any updates?
I've just spent the past hour doing everything suggested prior to my posting. The only prob I'm having with the bottombar is that middle section (showing resists) is not fully visible, and the mouseover that used to change the view to show crits is no longer working.

btw...since this is my first post here, I'd like to say THANKS FOR A GREAT UI!

Having the same issues with the 1024 bottom bar being all scrunched up and only parts of it visible. Tried both a manual install and an automatic install but the problem remains. Other than this minor issue, I love the UI.

Any time frame on when you'll send the update for this gm9?

I run the updater and get all files are up to date however a mentioned change in 12-20-2007 and my bottombar files are 11-10-2007? Wondering whats going on here when changes are made the updater still reports files are up to date and I am not getting changed files in zip format either. Thanks

Eowaubeth, the change was only to the 1024 pixel wide variant of the bottom bar. I am not aware of anything wrong with the default version. Are you? (well except for the new stats that still have to be added...)

I use the 1024 did delete the current and it downloaded 1 for 12-21-07 I'll look and see what I get :)

Ok clicked variants and it downloaded a zip with a file of 9-30-07 inside. Also have a _ProfitUI_BottomBar.xml file with date of 12-21-07 just confused is all if the file 1024 was updated would the variant that got downloaded today not be in zip file?

Yes, it extracts the file from the zip, but I guess it does not keep the date upon extraction. You'll know if the file works. :)

Heh would I now :P I'm a noob who cut and paste things to make it look nice. LOL

Anyway I take it the mouse over changing the stats has been added back? As before I was having to click the left triangle thing to see the other stats. I'm comfortable with either and look forward to new versions. :)
