Font Question...

I have been going crazy trying to figure out how to shrink the font a bit. Can anyone help me out. The font that I have next to the Hit Points, Power, Concentration and Exp I want to shrink a little.

Thanks,
TyeJae

wow tye thats awesome looking. You can actually "make" your own font, you'll prolly need to crack the xml file open tho:
Paste
<TextStyle Algorithm="Simple" FontName="Small Fonts" Language="english" Name="11smallfont" PointSize="11" UseCachedFont="true"></TextStyle>
in the 2nd line (if text wrapping is turned off)

FontName is basically any well known font. Times new roman, Arial ect.
PointSize is the size of the font.
Name is how you'll tell the game to use the font

the name in this case is "11smallfont" so in your text tag you have Font="11smallfont"

Here is what I got so far. I like it but there are a few things that I cannot get to work. If you look at where I have the group names they are all lined up vertically, that is not how I have it in UI Builder. I have them lined up with the curve in the graphic, but it does not trasfer to in game. I have a couple other things that I am trying to do as well, but havent had the time to quite check into it yet...

Looks sweet.

Nastun managed to get the group member stuff alignment correct in his Arcane Group Window mod:

Not sure how exactly how, haven't looked into it yet, but it looks to me like you should be able to get it okay from looking at it. :p

I checked that out and I imported it into my files and I moved everything around and they still do not line up, they stay in the same format that they were put in for that Arcane Group.

Maybe post what you have exactly for those lines, and what your changing. It may be possible that the size of the window in game is affecting where they sit exactly. Your gonna need to use absolution position, and make it so the window can't be resized (at least that's how I see it).

I am at work right now, as soon as I get home I will post the .xml.

Here is my delema. The first picture is in build mode and the second is in game. I also included the .xml file at the bottom.

See how the the health, power and name does not line up...

Thanks in advance,

Anybody? =)

I can't help you with the xml alignment, but that's one awesome looking mod you've got going there. Are you planning to release it to the public?

TyeJae 01-12-2005 09:55 AM

Yes, maybe if I just release it someone will figure it out, I really wish I could align it before I release it though...

Ahh finally I figured it out! I have to tweak it a little bit more. It is time consuming though because I have to find a full group then stay with them for a little while, then leave that group so I can change things then test again...lol... I am getting there though. I'll post when I complete.

Thats a very good duplication of Quartz!! TextAlignment= Left if you havent gotten that yet.
