Cant be in X channel, in multiple tabs?

Basically I wanted guild chat to be in my main tab, and also its own private tab. But if I add a guild tab, it takes it away from main chat. Then if I go and add it to the main tab, it takes it away the guild tab :/. I was thinking maybe it was a feature, but I really couldnt find anything on it in the thor ui options. So, any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Add the following to your eq2.ini file.

Code:

# This will allow each window/tab to be totally seperate
# ie guildchat in multiple windows.
chat_allowduplicatechannels 1

aww :/

You rock! Thanks! OH is there any way to mute NPC chat? I have a single tab for "tells" also, and npc quest chat/interacion clutters the heck out of it. Thanks again!

Edit. I cant seem to get it to work. And I have no single file named eq2.ini anywhere in my everquest 2 folder. I have, however provided this screenshot with the 2 ini's that could be the possible one, with it pasted already in there. And I have ofcourse restarted eq2 each time without it working. Any idea's? thanks.

I FIXED IT. Anyways, you wont freaking believe this one. I had everquest 2 and all the expansions installed on two different drives. I looked at my shortcut and it was on a diffferent partition lmao.. Thanks for the help though, you still solved my original problem :)
