how to make whole ui biggerr

anyone know of a way to make the entire ui bigger , i would like to play at a resolution of 800x600 but that's not available , world of warcraft had a command /console scaleui x where x was the magnification of the ui so a 2 would double it and so on , anyone know if there is anyway to do this in eq2

thanks so much for any help

Don't Think So

There is no such command that I know of. If you wanted to make everything larger, you would need to edit all of the XML files yourself. Just so you understand, that would make just the windows larger. The game will still be rendered at 1024x768.

I wouldn't hold out hope that someone will make a larger UI. I think most of us feel the UI is oversized as it is. I have a feeling most of us are set on making it smaller, not larger.

Keep in mind if you go alot bigger and make the jump to 1280x1024 (which I recommend on a 19" monitor) that you will be rendering more data and therefore will possibly be putting more strain on your system than your video card can handle... then you might need to upgrade it,

if i get a bigger monitor i would still try and keep it at 1024x768 , the problem i'm having is that the text and windows are a little too small for me to easilly see without smashing my face against the screen so the bigger i can make stuff the better
