Replacing Arial with Tahoma
 

Howdy!

Would there be a way to replace the use of Arial in the chat windows to Tahoma? I've always preferred the latter, it's easier to read for me.

Yup! Just open eq2ui_fonts.xml and replace "Arial" with "Tahoma" on the third and fourth lines. Save it to a custom UI folder and follow the directions in the "Help!?!?" section on these boards to install it.

3 (hopfully minor) requests.

1) a popup widow (the one that tells you when you've had a skill up or come to a new region in a zone) with idiot proof resizing handles. I somehow managed to make mine smaller so now all the text is chopped off except the first 3-4 letters, but I haven't found any way to resize it back to it's proper size. :mad:


2) A slim combined Inventory and Personal window, but one that has the money slots left in the inventory. The one slim combine window I've seen that I loved, didn't have any money slots, and the one combined window that did have money slots left in inventory had all the fancy scrolls and window frames still one it which is what I'm trying to get away from.

3) A smaller destroy window!! Destroying figs isn't an event that needs to take up 1/4 of my screen!! :eek:
