DRUMS causing issue with ingame browser and petition

Okay so I was having an issue with being able to submit an in game petition and getting and error saying that I was missing the MSVCP71.dll. Anyway after a long conversation on the phone with sony I completely removed the game and reinstalled it today. The in game petition worked perfectly..... UNTIL I reinstalled DRUMS and now I'm getting the same error again. I removed DRUMS and installed the default UI and the problem went away.

What file is it that DRUMS is changing or deleting that is causing this issue. It's on the installation of DRUMS that is causing this.

When I do a /petition it brings up the "Help" titled window with auto-populated fields and not the Browser (which I do use the DrumsUI version of). I was able to submit a bogus petition and close it.

I might try the browser itself and do one to see what happens.

I have no real control over browser problems, and have done nothing special in my UI (nor do I really have the power to cause that issue) to cause this to happen.

I suggest you go into your your EverQuest II folder, into the LegendsOfNorrath folder, find MSVCP71.DLL and copy it into your main EQ2 directory, and see if you still have a problem.

SOE CS knows VERY little about the UI in their game, and most of their help suggestions are based little on personal knowledge of the game.

Drums you are the man! Putting that file in the main directory cured the issue. Damn I wish I woudl have thought of that :-/
