Problem: lost EQ2 button and I need to get it back
 

Hello mates,

I just installed ProfitUI via de ProfitUI updater, and all went fine. But after exiting the game and coming back (i installed EQ2Map that is why I quit the game) I had lost the EQ2 button window (well, the modified one where you have night vision, Eq2 button, ProfitUI button, graphic and sounds options etc). Is there a way to get it back?

try alt-tilde (~) (your key might actually be ` rather than ~).

to the best of my knowledge this doesn't work anymore. I think the startbutton is always on. Check options User Interface Game Windows keep mainhud windows open to see if thats checked. Also theres a file for the start button that Silat posted to fix some issue.

All I know is mine is hidden and I can't bring it back up with the alt tilde button nor any button I configure as I don't see it there anymore use to be a command key we could set for it. I see one for start menu and that does bring up the menu but not the button.

Type /show_window MainHUD.StartButton

This is a 7 month old post ;) . Since then the window can be shown by right clicking the xp bar and then choosing minimize. To detach click maximize.
