wards no longer showing amount left
 

I just updated the UI today and after doing it, I noticed that the wards were not showing the amount left of the ward unless I mouse over it. Did I miss something in the patch notes?

Yes there was a change, on servers that didn't get patched they won't show. What server are you on?

Hmm I'll have to test that, there should be no issue on that server (actually as far as I know there should be no issue on any server except maybe Russian).

Update: Hmm, anyone else having trouble with ward amounts not showing? Because I tested on Nektulos and it worked fine.

Sometimes mine shows how many triggers I have on a reactive and how much is remaining on repent and other times it doesn't. I haven't been able to figure why it shows or it doesn't. It's almost like it's random

Is it possible that you guys load the game via everquest2.exe and haven't run the launchpad in a while? It may be that you do not have the latest eq2 client version (thx Zoltaroth for the tip ;)).

If it's the tooltips that is doing it than it isn't his window.

dynamic data file somehow get screwed up, maybe? /shrug

The tooltip I have no influence over, but as you can see the amount is still correctly being displayed on the icon so I don't know why you would care about the tooltip anyway.

yes the amount is displayed on my single target ward but not the one im howering over, the one that says 24.2 sec remaining (my group ward)

Aye sorry, that's what I get for only quickly looking at that (having been a defiler myself even /hangs head in shame).

I'll let Zoltaroth know about this, he recently changed something about that dynamic data, it may be related. Can you reproduce the problem with this spell or is it random?

im not 100% sure but it seems to be when the ward exceeds 10000

Gotta make the font smaller.

The font should hold ward amounts up to 888.888, and also that doesn't explain the tooltip.

I suggest forwarding the problem to a dev.

Mystic wards working fine here. I ran the updater this morning, so I have the latest build.
