Howto: Install an Interface
Currently the interface command /loadui works in a sense it loads the custom interface but if you use it your interface will not work correctly. So here are the steps to use for now to load a custom interface and have it work.

NOTE: some authors include the EQ2.INI file for you. If its there, just save it into your EQ2 directory.

Problems saving or nameing the eq2.ini?
You should be able to open it in notepad and choose save as and save the file as eq2.ini otherwise you can... Open My Computer >> Tools (dropdown) >> Folder Options >> View (tab) >> uncheck "Hide extentions for known file types". Click Apply and Ok. Then you should be able to rename the file to eq2.ini. |
International users if you have a folder in your Everquest2 directory named something like this (different name depending on language): LP_REGION_EN_US you will need to use the UI folder located inside that.
example: You would then make your custom UI folder in this location: %\Everquest II\LP_REGION_EN_US\UI\bobsui Please see the FAQ for more detailed information. |
