Custom Loading screen
 

I am sure you all love stairing at the loading screens and wonder why cant I just create my own... well sure you can not a problem.

its even patch proof :)

in a folder such as this one

C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II Beta\UI\Default\images\loadscreens\random

open up one of the exsisting images replace the drawing area, and put in your own, but save it as the next image in line,

I have atached a jpeg version of one I made, it works and dosent get patched over :D

Oh dear lord... well since a certain someone upped and dropped the ball it seems on a project for EQ2interface... I might as well start doing work for things like this. Thanks for the heads up!

we have heard rumors that this folder and the "frontend" folder will be moved OUTSIDE the UI folder, there by making it against the EULA to modify any of the files.

though, in this case is just "adding" soo prolly wouldnt get in too much trouble.

Are they static ? could make some great immersive , loading pls wait screens when using mariners bell etc, not sure why SoE never did. swirling mists etc as you are ported.
