EQ Veteran needs help.
 

I played EQ since launch in 1999. One thing I miss dearly is the interface of EQ. I was wondering if someone knew of a mod that emulates the original UI from EQ (not the one that was released after Luclin, the one that went down the bottom and up the sides.)

If there isn't something like this, does anyone know of a place that can teach me how to do this myself? I'm familiar with HTML, and other coding languages, but I haven't done much in the way of XML or any time of UI modding.

I haven't seen any screenshots of the EQ1 interface, but you should be able to find either a set or pieces here that you can then adjust to fit your needs.

If you also want the viewport limited to a smaller area, so that it has black along the bottom and sides, that is no longer possible. EQ2 does not have a viewport command.
