Small Window
 

Hey there!

Im wondering if someone could write up a very simple small window with frame a little wider than the target window, with a single dynamic text element which will autoload from a txt file from a local folder in the UI Directory.

Im wanting it to load the very first line and that's it :)

Is this possible, and if so, could someone write up the xml for me? I'd be most appreciative as it will be used for a project which I think the EQ2 community will be very happy to recieve. I'd do it myself, but I'm not knowledgable with xml.

What are you trying to load from file?

In general, the game cannot load content from text files dynamically (we're simply not given any method to do it via the UI). There's some work arounds using XML and the custom POI system, but it's not quite as simple as editing a text file and loading from it.
