Chat screen issue

First off, you answered this question about a year ago for me and I just can not seem to find that thread any longer, so I apologize.

Unless my pointer is in the chat box, I type over the bottom line of text. Could you please post the fix one more time?

Thanks,

Rubeous

It's not a "fix"...it's an optional chat window that is part of the fetish package. Please read your install notes included with the package. :)

can't seem to find it in the install notes

I must be a moron, this is all I found:

Mod by Fetish a.k.a Zonx

The following install instructions are included for your convenience. The most current and detailed
info can be found on this forum http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/f...splay.php?f=38 (I have gone through here time and time again and can not find a solution)

1. If you have a prior Fetish UI, re-title that directory or delete it.

2. Unzip the contents of this archive into your "Everquest II" directory. By default...
c:\program files\sony\everquest II\
Replacing all files if prompted.
This will add an eq2.ini file preconfigured for this set.
A few txt files and a directory for this set will be added to your "Everquest II\UI" directory.

3. Download and install Microsoft.Net 1.1 found at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/i...splaylang%3den
You must have 1.1 installed. Later versions can be added to your system but the EQ2Maps Updater probably
wont run properly without 1.1 installed.

4. Install and run the EQ2MAP auto-updater found at http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3509

Note: Currently it is safe to allow the EQ2Maps Updater to overwrite MainHUD.Map.

Sorry if I am being a PITA,

Rubeous

Try this to see if it's what you are looking for: Link

Use window options to enable the titlebar. If you don't want to see the titlebar, set its opacity to 0.

If that still doesn't work for you, install the optional "simple" chat window included with the set.

This topic is covered in the FAQ ;)

I think it might be an issue that your acronym structure for referring to the "Faq" should be altered to appear as "FAQ" -- it could perhaps assist those appropriating lesser function.
