I honestly can't wait to see what develops in EQ2 as far as UI goes. I honestly think the better than default gives the game much more flavor.

welcome to the community. Dolby and I are known for our no-nonsense approach to the UI community. we have over 200,000 subscribers on EQInterface and I don't know of any that feel "flamed" or blasted for asking question.

So, just respect the other members as you want them to respect you and this will be just as awesome!

Hello everyone! I know this is prolly getting old, but I just wanted to drop a line to introduce myself to the forums. I am not much of a coder, but I certainly do enjoy my custom interfaces in EQ Live, and thought I could get a jump on it in EQ2. Thanks ahead of time for the warm welcome. :)

Greetings all. I played EQ1 for 3+ years and SWG for just over a year. In EQ1, before I quit...I fiddled around with XML a little but never coded my own interface. I'm not much of a interface maker, but I will try to help fix bugs with them if I can.

I glad to hear that, coming from the SWG forms were i think that is all they do. ;)

Hey everyone!

I played EQ for a little over 3 years when it first came out. Played just about every other MMO out there as well, but none as long as EQ.

I'm a game artist by trade and have worked on many mods. Graphic design is my specialty so if anyone wants to hook up for a project just let me know!

I played it during beta and then during the first 3 months of its release. I'll never touch that game again, even if they DID fix all their damn bugs. That game had so many bugs it was if they still released it during beta... it was horrible. I hear now though its a lot better to play but its to late for me :D Gearing up for the Q4 smash!

I never got into the SWG thing, I love star wars and all, but after just hearing about some of the problems, and the things they took out of the game just to release it...I wrote that one off. Besides, EQ2 was announced to be comming so.... why start another game when the one I really want will be here soon (I hope).

User of various UIs for EQ1 (played 2-3 years). Currently going thru Networking classes in RL and starting to play around with XML coding. Considering time constraints in RL, my EQ2 playing is going more social than power so willing to try out new UIs and see how much they break my system.

In all honesty, sure, I'm only here because of the beta giveaway, but then again, that's only because I didn't know of this place. So, I guess I'm here to stay for awhile... at least.

Well, meant it more as "Wouldn't have known this place existed were it not for it," but in truth, were this board dead or much bigger, I probably wouldn't have even posted... on the other hand, for some reason this kind of reminds me of a few of the forums I've liked over the years with smaller, closer-knit communities...

... probably completely wrong with how this site is or will end up, but just saying what it makes me think of. ^^;

I'm here cause I like to mod and I cant wait to tinker more with the UI.
