Saving settings in custom windows...

I have an idea for a new (and very invovled) mod, but it will be useless if I can't find a way to save settings in custom ui windows (ie: new windows that the default ui does not have).

It would also make Mahonri's Timer Window a bit more practical seeing as how it currently resets each time you log in.

I need to be able to have the timer settings window's settings save so they won't revert back to how the xml is written each time you log. I thought of saving variable to a text file that is then read on login, but I don't know if that will work. And I was wondering if there might be some easier way.....

Any ideas?

I don't think it's possible...
