I plan on having a map for Nek Castle in the very near future...hopefully tomorrow. I got a guy named Fenix (hes on serverwide chat channel) on my server who said he would sit in the zone for me for a bit while i do the whole /loc deal.

With the new change it does average group level perhaps with an exception if you are outside of grouping range, so hopefully they will still gray it all out.

I was going to do the Cauldron's Hallow zone in Nek Forest but our raid got wiped, if we succeed sometime I'll map the zone.

I would like to do rivervale but at 35 there are a lot of bright red ^^ mobs on the loose that would chew me up :)

ok time for me to go get lvl 50:) i need to find out how to get access to all those higher lvl zones...im kinda lazy lookin up stuff on other forums :)

I think you get access to all the major zones automatically at 42. Not sure about instanced zones and the like.

The only way to get that high fast would be to break the EULA and bot through a crafting profession. Not that I would ever recommend that. ;)

wait wait wait....you saying that me getting lvl 42 cook will give me access to all those zones? that would be too easy.

Heh, yup. It's how I got into EL/Zek as an 18 Summoner. I'm also a 39 Alchemist. :D

any of the zone i gain access to have no map available? please tell me the ones you know of so i can figure out how to get there :)

Levelling tradeskilling should give you access to zones such as Enchanted Lands, Zek, Everfrost, Lavastorm, Rivervale, Feerrott. There may be others, but those are the ones I know of for sure. Levelling tradeskilling will not give you access to instanced/raid zones such as Bloodskull Valley, etc.

Please correct me if I'm wrong here but lets say you have a Level 20 Pally, that is also a level 42 Cook (Provisioner), so Technically you would have access to the Higher Level zones EL, Zek, EF, LS, RV, and FR. Since the Character's Level is only 20 would not all the mobs be Red Cons, and the KoS Mobs be very deadly to a Level 20 character, would it not be sure suiside to try that with a Level 20 Adventure Class Character even though the Artisan Side of the Character is 42?

Oh, for sure. Running around EL with my 18 Summoner is nothing if not an adventure. :D But, it gives you access, so you can get a friendly high-level to group with you and stand around long enough to finish the mapping.

Very true Ger a level 35+ Group would allow you the access with most of the KoS mobs being gray. I didn't think about that.

heres an update on what im doing....
since i cant seem to get some higher lvls interested enough, or get on at the right times (live in euro here), ive been at a dead point.

I failed 4 of 5 times before I finally killed that demon, I really like the EL boat ride. :) I've since done it successfully 3 or 4 times.

failed EL boatride again....this time healer died, we survived, but no feathers...bleh

so im starting Zek access tonight
