Profit reborn with 1440x900

Well, i think i got it working for the most part. Problems are the bottem bar keeps vanishing unless i have my mouse cursor over it. Ive tried all the opacity settings in the window settings window and it still hides.

Its killing me, i want to show the bottem bar at all times, but cant seem to get it to not hide.

Also, when i log out i lose my chat window completely. Not the new one i made, but the normal stock one that comes with the game. Anyone have any idea? I cant use the UI like this now, im losing out on everything...

Here is a pic, see the bottem, cant seem to get the bar to stay up all the time...its annoys me cause when i use my bottem icon hotbar, it pops up and down alot.

I got the chat window fixed, i think...

however, is the persona window supposed to have a giant white box in the center?

got mine working at 1680x1050 with no problem and no alterations to the code. It was at 1280x1024 from my old monitor. Hooked up my new widescreen and it was initially didn't fill the screen. All i had to do though was hit Alt + Enter to make it windowed and then alt + enter again to make it full screen and the UI self-adjusted. Works and looks great!

Here's a screenie for proof:

:nana: Rock on Profit Reborn! :nana:

You need to download the Persona Pak that has images, per class type, that display where the white box is. Common mistake. Go back to the download thread and the details are there on the download, just install as stated and it will be fine :)

On the UI widget that has the buttons, including the EQ Start button, Night Vision toggle, etc -- there is a button for the configuration of the UI. I believe there is a setting there that will keep it visible though I can remember back several months when starting EQ2 with this UI I had the same issue. I'm hoping that was all I had to do and an easy fix for you as well.. If not I'll have to try to figure it out again ;)

dam, ive tried every single combo of opacity settings and still cant stop it from hiding itself on the bottem. The top doesnt do it for some reason. Anyone help? its to much to take it blinking on and off everytime i hit a button. I will have to remove profit and use the default ui if i cant get this fixed.

I've never used Profit but after looking at the xml here are a couple things to try.

Right click and choose Window Settings.
Click the Default Opacities button and see what that does.
Try changing the dropdown with the Frame and Titlebar choices.
Try pressing the triangle on the left end. That button shows and hides the titlebar.

If none of that helps:
Try the command
/show_window MainHUD.BottomBar
and
/hide_window MainHUD.BottomBar

Oh, you got it fixed in another thread.

Normally it's not necessary to post more than one thread for a problem.

gm9: Agreed, locking this thread in favor of the other one
