Hello there!

I just started playing EQ2 after the great Addon EoF, but ofter nearly 2 years of WoW i got used to the styleof the ui there and did not really like the blue/gold theme of the original interface.

After looking on the site here, i did not find a released remake/emulation of the wow interface, so i decided to try making my own. Im not very good in graphics, nor am I any experienced in XML and the UI Builder. The UI works, i also i tried to include a themed EQMap Version and I like the 'wowish' feel of it.

See attached a screenshot of it.
I will try to get it as good as possible an then maybe upload it, if there's any interest in it?

Oh that looks really nice, I love the color :). Ill be sure to download and try this one out, looks impressive.

nice, i started to create such an UI but never came to finish it :D just a tipp: activate smooth fonts in the options, makes the font look much nicer and even more wowish ;)

You could save yourself a buncha time by using my FetishNightfall set as a foundation for yours. Its a complete overhaul of the entire UI specifically designed to be easily reskinned and was built to resist breakage when SOE changes their stuff. Probly 90% of what you want changed would only require tweaking the images and FetishStyles.xml.

This would also get you all the extra features already included in the Fetish foundation.

I encourage folks to reuse my stuff, all I ask is that you give credit if you do ;)

I'll have a look. As im new to skinning and have no real clue what I'm doing ;) it could take a while. But if its easier and more flexible as the way i did, i guess i will like it. I will take look later on the eveing.
