Error everytime
I keep getting this error, EQ2Map Updater has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. I dont think that this is a problem with the eq2maps program but was wondering if maybe anyone else has had this problem and may know where i can find a solution to it. I am not really sure when the problem began occurring, but i believe it was some time around beta testing for TSO.
It gives me an option to report the error to Microsoft but then doesn't give me any ideas of what may be wrong. I am getting the same type of error when I try to run ACT |
That means your Microsoft .NET framework is broken, best redownload the latest versions of the .NET 1.1 and 2.2 framework redistributable packages from Microsoft and reinstall them. It might help deinstalling .NET from the Windows control panel first.

Ok, it will not let me either install .net framework or uninstall it. It gives me another error and asks me to report it. Also says;
The Following error occurred during setup: Path package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer patch package. lol |
Ok went and looked for windows updates and found a .net service pack update that for some reason didnt auto download. got it installed and its now working again, tyvm for the help cause it was driving me crazy.

The updater needs .NET 2.0 , you can try to reinstall .NET 2.0 again or you can try Landiins MAP updater.
