Clear chat window macro
 

I use ACT which populates a a dps chat window I have. To clear this chat window I right click the window and click clear text. Right above that is remove this tab. On more than one occasion I've hit that instead of clear text.
Is it possible to make a macro to clear text from a chat window? I tried /cl but it doesn't work.

or
/clearchattab <window> <chat> (first is zero !! )

Do you mean if I have 2 chat windows Chat1 w/tabraid and tabdps and Chat2 w/tabaution and tabworld and I want to macro the chat1-tabdps the string would look like this: /clearchattab 0 tabdps or 0 dps? If I'm wrong could you provide an example please?

/clearchat : clear current tab

/clearchattab 0 0 clear first tab in the first window

/clearchattab 0 2 clear third tab in the first window


in your exemple, /clearchattab 0 1
