Problem with auto updater?
 

hi there can anyone help me please

im on windows 7 trying to install the profit ui auto updater, however after i have extracted the file etc... bring up the window... click the Launch tab, the next window (green bar) just freezes and doesnt load anything, ive tried re-installing it, the same with Java - (i have java 7). Also ive checked Java menu and the updater is there with a green status icon.

Anyone else had this issue and if so how did you get around it please?

In the windows Control Panel open Java. Make sure keep temp files is checked under settings. Now choose view temp files.

You said the status light was green so you can right click the app and choose install shortcuts. Also you can try right clicking and choose run online and see if that works.

When I install the updater I don't download and extract anything. I goto http://updater.pala.de/ and click the orange launch button.
