How to add multi mod components to 1 theme?

How do I go about installing diffrent mod pieces into one theme? All the mods overwrite the same files. Would all I do is copy/paste the info between the <page> lines?

Thanks
Brad

Need Help to

I have Downloaded the Insom Pieces into 1 file as instructed. However I have no clue as to go about Createing a new file called eq2.ini in the EverQuest II directory. Could Someone explain this as well so that I can get the Mods to work properly. Thank you.

Right click -> New -> text file

Copy and Paste what is supposed to be in there

save it as eq2.ini or save it as a text file and then rename it to eq2.ini, that easy.

It's not that simple

In order to combine two or more components that use the same files, you have to open both XML files in notepad (or some kind of file comparison tool)and compare them line by line. Each line is made up a several parameters. You need to comapre each of these parameters. If the same parameter is modified in both files, you have to pick one of the two possible values. Rinse and repeat.

Combining two components that both modified the same set of files is not an easy task. It would be very easy to mess this up and come out with an interface that doesn't work.
