Player Window Mod
 

This is a mod for a player window that I started earlier today. Was going for a much more cartoonish look I guess than the usual EQ2 windows. Also used more rounded corners. Just looking for some general feedback before making a downloadable file. :)

Looks kinda WoW-ish. :)

That was where most of the inspiration came from. :p

haha they must have really changed the gauges since i played WoW, they didn't look anything like that when i played; I got bored of it after a few months playing alpha and beta and they still had a ways to go when i quit.

Hey don't get me wrong, it looks great! I'm interested in seeing if you do more pieces... ;)

I'm actually working on making this into a complete UI. I'll post more pics later on.

Player window looks nice. I'd use it myself but my utilitarian side is poking me with fingernail clippers.

Gosh I really wish I had some more GFX skill, seeing these new ideas give me even more ideas and wishes, hehe. Good work.

That looks sweet, I love the smooth look, and the player window. The only downside would be the non updating icon :D

Yeah im trying to find a way to make several different icon images and the window would choose one, depening on your character's class. Mainly so the mod would be more universal. I'm not really sure if that's possible though.

Just a suggestion but you may want to just make 4 differrent images and have them in a folder with your mod then we could just pick the one we want for our main toon I know it dosen't solve the issue for those of us with multiple toons but it's a start.

Yeah I thought about that, at least until I find a more permanent solution. Btw it should be ready for download soon. I just want to release it with the mod for the group window because having only the player looks really awkward next to the default group window. Just need to work out one bug. For some reason group member's hit point bars are decreasing but the power bars are not, can't figure out why.

I had a similiar idea with the playerpicture, - I thought it would be nice to put the paperdoll face in it, but I haven't finished it yet

I actually started doing this too with the paperdoll, but sorta lost interest...didnt turn out as cool as I wanted it...lol
