i have been a fetish user for a while now. i installed the newest one after a 6 month layoff from the game.. it runs great except for the chat window. when i type my text to send in the chat window it is covered up by the scrolling text, but if i mouse over the window the scrolling text moves up one space allowing me clear view of what i am typing? is this a thing with fetish or is there a setting someplace in eq to fix that?

Thats the default setting, you can Delete the file :

eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml

Then edit the file name of : ( _simple_eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml ) to match the old and it will stop "stealthing" the chat bar.
