need help with reskinning the default skin!
 

I basicly took the defualt skin, changed some colors etc etc. Used the eq2.ini to load it.... changed the eq2ui_skininfo.xml file... now when i use the skin names do not show up... very strange no clue why its doing it.

To name your skin you need to edit the eq2ui_skininfo.xml

if you use the sticked version of the EQ2.ini file you need the name of the folder not the name inside the Skininfo.xml

will test this for ya and see how it works.

I attached the eq2.ini file i used to test it.. save it in your EQ2 Beta folder and it will load this correctly.. screen shot to follow shortly

I downloaded your interface... all 48mb's :eek: of it and you only need to include those files you changed not the entire default files. If you do that it should be well under 6mb and you can submit it to our database.

extracted the images that had been changed, used them in a test mod with Insomniac's stuff..

Notes:

You do need the subfolders of any images
You do not need the other images from the subfolders
You do only need the files your changed

fixed the file on my site, i changed the splash logos and gave you guys at eq2interface a logo... an fixed a few buttons!

DOOD! you took the work I did and modified it.. at least give me credit for the work I did.. (the xml has my tags on it from xmlspy). don't just say "you fixed it" hehehe I gave you full credit for the recoloring!

Glad that its only a 1.2 megs.. why not uploaded it to the Dowload section so more people can see it.

I actually did change a few things =) not just recoloring, but yes i will give you some credit, sorry bout that i wasnt thinking... been a long ass day at work.

Using your interface with insom's mods now... I'm likeing the silver color.
