Quests Feature?
 

In the _eq2map.txt file you mention EM_eq2ui_mainhud_map_quests.xml file. Where can we get this file? Shouldn't it be an optional download here?

It's in development at the moment. It was complicated enough and thought up long enough ago that it's been in the map window's infrastructure for a while now, just it'll be a bit before it's debut.

If you knew how much time goes into adding each quest to the window, you'd take your time with it too...it'll be out soon enough though. Keep your eyes peeled

oooo would it be a pain to have something similar to your db for the maps working for the quests? be way easy for people to pop in, cut/paste, and submit :)

Just trying to think up something since it looked like you were doing it "by hand" if that makes sense. Or is that incorporated already...

See the thing is that not only is a a quest database, each step of the quest that involves another location is going to actually be a button that way it can give you a waypoint to the needed location. Then there's so much work adding each quest to a few different items every time I add one of them since treeviews nor dropdown boxes work.

I am working on getting a quests DB up. Look for it at maps.eq2interface.com.

I'm glad :) I can imagine how tedious it can be to code all of that...
