Can't get rid off one window
 

Hello,

after 4 years absence i'm playing EQ2 again, but there's one windows which i can't close.

Does anybody know what that is and how i can close that mini-youtube window? Maybe it's from an old mod which I forgot meanwhile? (the game was installed the whole time... ^^)

I've tried to reload the ui with /loadui and selected as well "Standard" and "Default (Blue)" but the window stays there, when I load the UI-style.
And when i click that screwdriver on the right side i get redirected to the options -> user interface window.... but there is no option for video- or youtube-configuration.

Try /hide_window MainHUD.VideoCapture

IIRC that window isn't really used anymore (I think they got rid of the video capture uploading to youtube thing), but your uisettings probably has an entry for it in there that's causing it to display. Hiding it above might get it to go away, if not you might need to start with fresh UI settings (or /load_uisettings from an alt without it up) or edit your ui settings file directly to hide/remove the window.

Do you know, how I can clean up my eq2 ui files without breaking EQ2 itself?
As to say any resetui possibility, so i can begin with UI customization anew?

I'm pretty sure in the Persona/character window there is a setting for the Youtube recording thing. I forget what it's called.

If you want to start fresh layout-wise, just go into your EQ2 folder and find the file named after the following pattern: Server_Charname_eq2_uisettings.xml Rename that file to anything else (or delete it, but renaming lets you get it back if you want to later) and next time you log in you'll start with the default layout and can customize from there.

If you're talking about going to default from a custom ui as well, you'll need to edit EQ2.ini (and potentially eq2_recent.ini) to remove the UI name from the file, just change it to default.
