I am a totally lost noob.
 

I am new, I am not sure how to post, I downladed profitui, profitui reborn, profit ui updater, profit ui reborn updater, profit ui catalyst. All I got was a crap load of files and no program. Why can't this just be like other stuff I have downloaded..I click the run button and I have the program. This is too hard to use..not at all a pleasant experience or of any use at all. I have heard it recommended by many but if it is so hard to figure out how to even run it it does not seem worth the effort. I searched the forums and saw just one appropriate title..how to run an interface or some such title...but it was filled with gibberish about making new files and having images ..i can hardly rmeber what it said. I just want a run button...is there any such thing???

all you need is this..

Download the updater and install it

Run the updater - make sure it is pointing to your UI folder

Example :

C:/Sony/everquestII/UI

once installed

it should be like C:/sony/everquestII/ui/profitUI

Run EQ2

Once in game do a /load_uisettings which brings up various screen profit layouts select one that is close to yours then arrange it to how you would like it to be.(thats how I did it a few years back lol )
