running directory issues
 

I have the latest version of eq2maps and it is working great except that I cant change directories anymore. I run eq2maps as admin and update my maps before running eq2 (thru eq2maps ie the open eq button). I have a partial mod that is just the healer part of profit for raid and grp windows and I used to use the "options" button in eq2maps to choose the directery from the the two diff versions of the healer mod or the reg eq2maps which I used for all my melee characters since you couldnt use your inv potions to cure yourself as a melee using the heal mod. Since the updates choosing a different directory ( ie eq2maps, heal mod version A or B) has no effect in game. The game runs the heal mod everytime now and I can not choose otherwise.

I hope that was clear enough for possible solutions.

Do you use the UI Directory dropdown menu to change UI ??

yes I do but it does not seem to switch directories anymore since the heal mod I use is always on now. I toggled between the heal mod dir and just eq2maps dir for my none healer characters.

I did test this my self and it works fine.
Could you test if you change UI with the dropdown and exit the program, does it have the same UI set the next time you lauch the updater ?

yes it is the same dir as I chose when I come back.

Then the eq2.ini file is changed as it should.
Either you have installed the heal mod to eq2map to , or you might have 2 eq2 installations.
