Group / Raid window combined?
 

Is it possible to just expand the group window into the raid window as a raid is formed, vice having your group in both the group window AND the raid window? It would save a lot of space on the screen.

If there is a mod out there with this feature and compatable with GU53, please direct me, as I have not seen one.

Hmmm. In theory, I guess you could make a raid window that detects which group you are in and then hides it (making a 3-group raid window), and even in theory adding that as an extension of the group window...

With that said, I have never seen a mod that does that, I don't think it would be an overly simple thing to do.

Last I checked, there were still some hard-coded aspects to both the Raid and Group windows that would prevent merging them.

You could easily script the groups to hide if a player's name matched GameData.Self.Name. Getting the groups to reposition to fill the empty space would be trickier.

Can't remember if samejima released it that way but he had a combined group/raid window in development at some point.
