Food & Potions in Hotbar?
 

hi just a quick question am i doing something wrong? when i drag my food or potions to the hotbars to click when i need them they do not show how many are left to go (little number in the corner) have i changed a setting or is this a problem? thanks

If you are using a modified hotbar, more than likely the Font has been removed to rid the annoying HotKey assignment lables. If so, you lose the charge (item left number) as well.

Sorry ravenskull, I somehow had missed your post. You posted in just the right place!

And yes, unfortunately there is currently no way to remove the shortcut key display without affecting the stack/charges numbers. I suppose you had them disabled.

If you don't use the short cut keys (like me :)) then you can unassign the keys in the options menu.

That way, the shortcuts don't show up but the charges/uses still do :)

Obviously not a solution if you do use shortcuts :)

Another option might be to put things with charges/uses into the fourth or fifth (or any up to tenth) hotbar as they don't have any shortcuts assigned to it. Have not tested this but imagine it should work.
