Kicked Again
 

Right after the latest update I could no longer use the game map.
Error message is as follows: < verify >D:\live\eq2\framework\render\src\DDTexture.ccp(195) Unknown DDS Texture.

The problem repeated every time I tried to use the in-game map.
I solved it by deleting the entire EQ2Map program. Sure enough the in game map worked so I downloaded and installed the program again. Now I'm right back where I started ie: kicked out of the game sighting the error message again.
Anyone?

Everythings working fine for me using eq2map, what zone are you in? Does it do the same thing if you move to another zone?

Yes. Doesn't matter what zone.

Only thing I can think of with the information provided is that you may have sort of web accelerator program installed and its compressing the dds graphics as it downloads them and EQ2 doesnt like that.

Are you using the autoupdater to install EQ2MAP or the zip file? Also when you uninstalled it, did you totaly remove the eq2map folder as in delete it or just run a uninstaller?
