Game crash on load up
 

Hey, im not sure if there is another thread for this, but i didn't to make another.

When loading up my game, im able to log in with the new patch, BUT as soon as i click ANYTHING the game will crash.

People in game have said that you have released a patch to fix this, but i can not locate it.

Any ideas to help me and others please post.

same thing is happening to me and I get an error box popping up telling me the disc is not inserted?! As soon as I click anything in the game screen after char select it crashes

same thing here. anything i left click crashes the game.

Ok, it is definately a Profit UI error because I just removed the ProfitUI from my eq2 UI file and game is fine... we need to post this in profit UI forum.

ive updated Profit and still no luck...

Friend just gave me this.... deleted the following and i was able to get on without crashing. Hope this helps

c:\program files\everquest2\UI\profiteq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml

This worked for me as well thank you.

Download the zip file attached to the bottom of the post.

Close EqII

Extract the zip file to your everquestii directory, wherever that is for you.

It should replace about 10 files.

Launch eqii.

Also Rothgar stated that later today a patch will be pushed on there side to stop crashing the game if you persona window does not have the mount and currency tab. At that point you will be able to wait for the autoupdater and still be able to play.

It is now on the autoupdater for profitui.
