NDA Lifted

Direct from the EQII boards:

A message from John Smedley:

As of now, the NDA for the EverQuest II Beta is officially lifted. We encourage our beta testers to share the experiences they’ve had in beta with the rest of the EverQuest II community. Many more people who enrolled in the EverQuest II beta program can expect beta keys in their inboxes in the very near future. In addition, in the past few weeks we’ve let the Legends and Lords of EverQuest players in, and we would like to thank them for their support. We now have four Beta servers up and running including one French and one German server and we’ve let in over 30,000 players since July. In the near future that number will grow far past that. Keep an eye on your inbox!

I will offer to try to answer any questions that I can.

OK, where's my beta invite? LOL,

just kidding... Fill us in on any details you think are worth pointing out.

Kinda overly broad...

I will just say this, even in beta is a very fun game. There are always things to do, and if all you do is set and grind exp, you really do miss out on alot of things. There are a huge amount of quests, and a huge amount of items just in the lower levels. The websites trying to document all the quests and items have a absolutly garguantuan task ahead of them.

Even though I have yet to see anything that looked like something out of EQ Live, the game still feels like Everquest. The music sets the mood, and the Voice Over add more than you would believe to an MMO. Since I began in Beta, MMO's without Voice over just feel... hollow.
