Installation Notes:
- How To: Install A Custom UI
- DragoHUD.dds goes in your CustomUI/images/ folder.
- eq2ui_custom_dragowulfui_dragohud.xml goes in your CustomUI folder.
- _DragowulfUI_DragoHUDSettings.txt goes in your CustomUI folder.- Open _DragowulfUI_DragoHUDSettings.txt and change the values to your desired settings. - If you do not have eq2ui_custom.xml, copy it from your EverQuest II/UI/Default folder and paste it in your CustomUI folder.- Open the file with a text editor and replace all text with:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<Page IgnoreTab="false" ismodule="true" Name="Custom" PackSize="1,1" PackSizeProp="0002/0003,0002/0003" ScrollExtent="1024,768" Size="1024,768" Visible="false">
<include>eq2ui_custom_dragowulfui_dragohud.xml</include>
</Page>
- If you already have eq2ui_custom.xml, open it with a text editor and add the following line:
Code:
<include>eq2ui_custom_dragowulfui_dragohud.xml</include>
- It will then look something like this (make sure the line you're adding is the line under the second line of eq2ui_custom.xml and not on the last line of the .xml):
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<Page IgnoreTab="false" ismodule="true" Name="Custom" PackSize="1,1" PackSizeProp="0002/0003,0002/0003" ScrollExtent="1024,768" Size="1024,768" Visible="false">
<include>eq2ui_custom_dragowulfui_dragohud.xml</include>
</Page>
** WARNING: Please verify that you correctly followed the Installation Notes above, otherwise several issues will occur.

I love HUD add ons. It's about time someone got one going for EQ2. For that I thank you...
Now onto my question. I tried fiddling with it just alittle, what I would like to know is... Is it possible to make this hud appear around your target? Kind of like the targeting ring. I used a mod in warhammer that did that and really liked it. One thing that I could never stand about EQ2 is that the implied target arrow above their heads is so hard to see. Would love if someone you could make some adjustments or give me advice on how to go about doing that if it is at all possible. From what I see the target ring is just an image with no xml to adjust things like this so maybe it isn't possible.

Good stuff, as usual! My only complaint is that there's no way of knowing who you're ACTUALLY targetting! So I have to have my old target window open in the corner to let me know who I'm targetting
If you could just label the target on the HUD, that'd be awesome. Some more options if possible, too!

I can probably integrate it so it replaces the default/profit ones.

Does anyone know how to disable casting/ and autoattack -bar from ProfitUi?
This Mod is nice, but I don't need 2 casting bars and 2 autoattack bars

Ok good to hear.
Requests for features/changes for the HUD and the settings file are always accepted. Version 4.0 hopefully will add text to the HUD.

Hmmm. I will check this out, it's definitely a strange occurrence. Were you fighting when you zoned?

After I install DragoHUD. It worked well, but when I changed to other zone and did first fight, the game windows was frozen, so I need close the game problem and restart it. I tried several times, and still got the same problem.

I'm planning on a massive feature update here soon.
The reason why I uploaded this version was because in order for me to do a massive update I had to first completely revamp the mod's code by starting from the ground up. I thought that it would be a good idea to upload the full functioning version I made so far.
