This release just gets it up and working.[/LIST[ Ver: 1.0.3.3 - The Window Edit tab is now live, if you make changes there they are sent to the file to be saved.
- Now when you select a chat channel, Module or Window on the data view tab, it will highlight the data for the item you have selected.
- Add a button under the delete button on the data view tab that will allow you to compare two windows side by side. Pressing the compare window button will open up a new window where you can select two windows and view them side by side. Right clicking on one of the grids and selecting compare will highlight all the defences in the windows.
- Added code to recalculate new offset stored module count.

- Added changed byte highlighting in the compare data tab. Clicking on the compare button will highlight in red all bytes that have changed on the Old Grid.
- Redid some underlying code to make things work a bit better.
Ver: 1.0.1.1 - Moved some things around in the window data tab and added a chat channel list to the tab in case you needed easy access to that data also.
- Fixed issue where if you deleted a empty module it would cause an error.
- Removed the delete module/window context menu and replaced it with one delete button.

Not working =(
I used this awhile ago and it worked perfect! Now I can't get it to work. I used to be able to delete UISettings for characters I no longer have. When I go to move a channel up or down, I get some Access violation at address 004A1848 in module 'UIsettingsSpy.ext' Read of address 0000000C.
If I hit ok on that it moves it up.

Compatibility with Vista x64 & MS IntelliType Pro
This program, upon launching, started crashing the Microsoft IntelliType Pro software for my Natural 4000 Ergonomic keyboard; eventually needing to be closed after several program restarts.
Had to set this program to WinXP SP2 in order to run in Vista x64. Even then, click on the very last tab put the program into a nose dive, and ended up not responding and needing closed.
However, seemed to do the trick, thanks.

Followed a link from ProfitUIreborn forum, i guess i should post this here too
"Modules and windows" on 2nd page of UIsettingsSpy remains blank with both ProfitUI pre-set profile and modified profile, i get "This seems to be a uisettings file PreLU47. UISettings Spy no longer supports the old format." when loading ProfitUI profile. No error message when loading a modified character profile.
also tried different versions of UI settings spy
1.0.3.4(according to "About" box), filename suggests its 1.0.3.5, behaves as described above
1.0.3.4(version name in filename) hangs immediately, I did try to rename the ui files alphabeticaly so that the spy would look into different UI files when its launched, hang with every file
1.0.3.3(version name in filename, "about" box doesnt say anything) works like a charm with preset ProfitUI profiles but user-modified *.ini files won't again show anything in "Modules and Windows" box. Doesnt show it with profile files that i had saved from time i only used the unmodified SOE UI either
I wish i had found this tool before the latest updates to EQ2 Great tool if i could make use of it
Edit2, somehow missed Landiins post for workaround, works with 1.0.3.5

Doesnt work
No matter how i try to run this program it doesnt run with the new game updates. Ive tried running it as admin, tried changing folder permissions, tried running in every mode possible. Looks like a cool tool if it would actually work!

Not working for me
Followed a link here because the new bag slots they added a little while ago won't hold their position. Downloaded 1.0.3.5 and tried to follow the instructions I had but no luck. Shows chat channels but when I go to View Data the Windows and Modules window is empty. Same for all my toons. Also, the about tab lists it as version 1.0.3.4. So, I downloaded 1.0.3.4 just to try it but it just freezes when I try to view data. And the about tab for that one lists version 1.0.3.3.

Hot fixed to work with current ini format.
It will also show any custom voice chat channels you are in and their PW if they have one. I'll add the ability to delete them in the next release.

I'll look into it.. I don't have any current settings files here at work to test. I'll have to bring some form home tomarrow.

Grats on a nice program!
Very nice job here. I noticed a few small typos but I can overlook them since it's such a wonderfully useful program! I'm an altaholic that uses /load_uisettings a lot, and that created all kinds of weird chat issues for me...this program has nicely fixed them all without having to go in and manually edit the UI settings files. Thank you very much!

How would I
delete a chat window that keeps getting opened if I'm not in like 1-9 when someone types in that channel. This window opens each time I leave a channel or join 1 the first time and I can't find which window it is
